Digest: The Act tells the CSLESCD to study law enforcement  standards and tell a committee
what the study found. (Flesch Readability Score: 66.3).
Requires the Commission on Statewide Law Enforcement Standards of Conduct and  Discipline
to study law enforcement standards of conduct and discipline. Directs the commission to  submit
findings to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to the judiciary no later than
September 15, 2026.
Sunsets on January 2, 2027.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the Commission on Statewide Law Enforcement Standards of Conduct and Discipline.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.	The Commission on Statewide Law Enforcement Standards of Conduct and
Discipline shall study law enforcement standards of conduct and discipline. The commission
shall submit a report in the manner provided by ORS 192.245, and may include recommen-
dations for legislation, to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to the
judiciary no later than September 15, 2026.
SECTION 2.Section 1 of this 2025 Act is repealed on January 2, 2027.
