Declares an emergency, effective July 1, 2025. A BILL FOR AN ACT Relating to the financial administration of specified boards; and declaring an emergency. Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon: SECTION 1. There is appropriated to the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Coun- selors and Therapists, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, out of the General Fund, the amount of $468,750. SECTION 2.There is appropriated to the Oregon Board of Psychology, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, out of the General Fund, the amount of $156,250. SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the amount of $5,013,196 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. SECTION 4. Notwithstanding any other law limiting expenditures, the amount of $2,179,721 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2025, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received by the Oregon Board of Psychology. SECTION 5.This 2025 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2025 Act takes effect July 1, 2025.
