Repeals the "Residential Solar Energy Disclosure and Homeowners Bill of Rights Act." Amends title 5 "Businesses and Professions" to include a new chapter 93, an amended "Residential Solar Energy Disclosure and Homeowners Bill of Rights Act."
Amends the definition of "small employer" for purposes of the small employer health insurance availability act to mean a business employing less than one hundred (100) employees rather than fifty (50) employees.
Authorizes any and all state licensing authorities to issue licenses to individuals moving into this state with a minimum of three (3) years of practice, in good standing in any other state jurisdiction.
Requires the DOH and the EOHHS to collaborate with community health centers to establish new programs designed to attract federal funds, with a focus on the utilization of Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education programs.
Permits Smithfield to enact ordinances that would allow the animal control officer to issue citations which could be paid my mail and to prescribe penalties for violations of the town's ordinances regulating dogs.
Establishes the first time home buyer savings program act. Allows modifications to federal adjusted gross income for $50,000 in contributions and $150,000 of interest and dividends included in federal adjusted gross income.
Creates business tax credit for, eliminates sale tax on, eliminates income tax on the sale of, and creates a 10 year tax valuation freeze on newly renovated affordable housing.
Imposes a conveyance tax on purchasers, of single-family residential properties, who are for- profit entities with over $15,000,000 in assets, at a rate of $6.90/$500, to be collected for housing production fund established in ยง 42-128-2.1.
JOINT RESOLUTION MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF APPROXIMATELY $30,000,000 TO RHODE ISLAND'S PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS (This resolution would authorize the appropriation of the sum of $100,000 to each public school in Rhode Island for school safety and security improvements.)
JOINT RESOLUTION MAKING AN APPROPRIATION OF $180,000 FOR THE RHODE ISLAND STATE CONSERVATION COMMITTEE AND ITS THREE CONSERVATION DISTRICTS (This resolution would authorize the appropriation of the sum of $180,000 to the RI State Conservation Committee and its three Conservation Districts.)
