Born on October 27, 1979, in Jersey City, New Jersey, this member of the United States Senate has a solid educational background, including a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and an M.A. in Finance and Management from Harvard University. Before his appointment to the Senate, he served in several key positions including staff assistant and constituent advocate to Senator Frank R. Lautenberg, deputy and state director for Senator Cory Booker, and chief of staff to New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy. In his most recent role prior to the Senate, he was also a commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
