Biography

Juan Ciscomani is a Republican Congressman representing Arizona's 6th district. Born on August 31, 1982, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Ciscomani moved to the U.S. at a young age. He graduated from Rincon High School in Tucson, Arizona, and earned an Associate's degree from Pima Community College in 2003, followed by a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in 2005. Ciscomani has worked in various roles including as a senior program development specialist at the University of Arizona and as staff in the office of Governor Doug Ducey from 2015 to 2022. He was elected to Congress in January 2023 and currently serves on the Appropriations Committee, as well as the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Subcommittee.
