Requires video communication devices for patients or residents in nursing homes, hospitals or facilities providing health related services when visitor access is limited; requires that as part of a disaster preparedness plan that nursing homes, adult homes, enriched housing programs, and assisted living facilities provide video communication devices to patients for use when visitor access is limited, including, but not limited to during a designated state of emergency or a state disaster emergency.
Relates to mandatory reporting of suspected child abuse or maltreatment at summer day camps; includes college coaches, athletic directors, professors, graduate assistants and college presidents among those required to report such suspected abuse or maltreatment.
Provides that dogs engaged in hunting and training as authorized by the environmental conservation law, shall not be deemed to be running at large in violation of any local law or ordinance.
Provides certain warranties and protections for purchasers of new and used motor vehicles; includes commercial and business purchasers under the Lemon Law.
Establishes a clinical preceptorship personal income tax credit for certain health care professionals who provide preceptor instruction to students studying to be a health care professional.
Creates a tax credit for manufacturing companies that have one established place of business in the state and relocate a minimum of fifty employees from outside the state to the state; provides that manufacturing companies shall be allowed a credit in the amount of 2.5 percent of the average salaries of newly created manufacturing jobs multiplied by number of new jobs brought to the state.
Expands voter registration to include registration by any agency or entity that accepts an application or collects a fee in exchange for a government or educational service.
Relates to an increase in punishment for certain actions against on-duty auxiliary police officers such as criminally negligent homicide, assault or menacing of such officer.
Establishes legislation to protect children under the age of eighteen from inappropriate communication which creates the foreseeable risk of endangering the child's emotional, mental or physical welfare.
