Michael R. Turner is a U.S. Representative for Ohio's 10th congressional district, serving since January 3, 2013. Born in New York City on May 16, 1948, he graduated from Great Neck South High School in 1966 and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University in 1970 and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in 1973. Before his tenure in Congress, Turner was actively involved in local politics, serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2001 and as the mayor of Dayton, Ohio, from 2001 to 2002.
