Mandates that all restaurants offering children's meals offer at least two (2) children's meals that complies with certain detailed nutritional standards set forth in the act.
Grants a right of first offer to qualified nonprofits for the purchase of certain multi-family residential properties at market prices, within a reasonable period of time to promote the creation and preservation of affordable rental housing.
Provide the maximum number of unrelated persons living together that could be constitute an individual household would not be less than one person per bedroom.
Restricts increases in monthly common expenses and limit special assessments to cover unforeseen costs not included in the associationโs approved annual budget for common expenses in associations where the minority of the units are deed restricted units.
Restructures RI Housing and Conservation Trust Fund, increase its membership to 15 members, 11 of whom are to be from the general public and reallocate the percentage of the funds for housing, conservation and other goals.
Allows for a qualified abandonment of public town roads which grants a public easement over said road allowing it to be converted to a walking/hiking/biking trail as well as for access to parks, nature preserves and other recreational facilities.
Requires associations to provide unit owners with thirty (30) days notice of any increase in the deductible application to the association's policy ensuring that unit owners will have coverage relating to their responsibility.
Requires the recording of the bylaws and rules of the association in the land evidence records of the city or town the condominium is located in and require amendments to the original filings to be certified by two (2) members of the executive board.
