HOUSE RESOLUTION JOYOUSLY CELEBRATING TRINITY REPERTORY COMPANY'S PREMIERE OF "LA BROA' (BROAD STREET)", A PLAY INSPIRED BY THE LATINO HISTORY OF RHODE ISLAND
Repeals a 2021 law that mandated minimum staffing levels and standards for quality care for nursing homes and their residents with violations subject to monetary penalties.
Authorizes the submission of proposals for several bonds to the people of the state at the general election to be held in November, 2024. These bonds relate to capital development and the "green economy."
Allows veterans with "Disabled Veterans" license plates to all the rights and privileges to persons possessing a disability parking permit. There would be no requirement of a parking privilege placard to be displayed in the vehicle.
Requires the department of environmental management to promulgate by rule, a list of "furbearers" for purposes of the furbearing animals chapter of the general laws.
Allows law enforcement to utilize mufflers, silencers, or other devices for deadening or muffling the sound of a firearm while acting within the scope of their official duties under the supervision of the police chief or colonel of the state police.
