Enacts the reproductive freedom and equity grant program to ensure access to abortion care in the state by providing funding to abortion providers and non-profit organizations whose primary function is to facilitate access to abortion care.
Enacts the New York privacy act to require companies to disclose their methods of de-identifying personal information, to place special safeguards around data sharing and to allow consumers to obtain the names of all entities with whom their information is shared.
Enacts the safer consumption services pilot program act which provides for the establishment of a pilot program to provide overdose prevention center pilot programs.
Provides certain warranties and protections for purchasers of new and used motor vehicles; includes commercial and business purchasers under the Lemon Law.
Allows a county to enter into a municipal cooperative agreement with any municipal corporation, fire district, fire protection district, fire alarm district, or ambulance district within the county to provide joint emergency medical services.
Relates to the definition of "population" for purposes of providing substantially equal weight for the population of that local government in the allocation of representation in the local legislative body.
Establishes a comprehensive electric vehicle fast charging station implementation plan; requires the New York state energy and research development authority to further establish a "Fast Charge NY working group" to develop such plan; makes related provisions.
Enacts "Vincent Scheppa's law" authorizing, in certain cases, the provision of private duty nursing services to a medical assistance recipient by a relative who is a registered professional nurse.
Relates to the establishment of a community renewable energy program; directs the public service commission to evaluate a program to allow individuals to choose to receive energy generated from renewable energy systems.
