Establishes a twenty-five year retirement program for members of the NYC employees' retirement system employed as water supply police; provides for employer pick-up of certain additional member contributions required to be made by certain participants in the 25-year retirement programs.
Authorizes the commissioner of education to conduct a survey regarding instruction on Asian American, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islander history within the state; establishes an Asian American, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islander history advisory committee; provides for the repeal of such provisions upon the expiration thereof.
Repeals the requirement that the senate vote to confirm the appointment of certain chief executive officers within a certain time period; amends certain provisions of law relating thereto.
Prohibits participation in torture of incarcerated individuals by health professionals; prohibits a health care professional from engaging, assisting or planning the torture of an incarcerated individual; requires health care professionals to report torture.
Establishes a duty to inform certain patients about the risks associated with cesarean section for patients undergoing a primary cesarean section; establishes a duty to inform certain patients about the reason for performing a primary cesarean section delivery.
Prohibits certain political contributions and loans by certain organizations; provides that loans not repaid by the date of the primary or election shall be considered a contribution.
Establishes a master of social work paid field work pilot program to provide a stipend to students who are enrolled in a master of social work program for the first 450 hours of field work completed towards such masters' degree; requires the office of mental health to complete a report making recommendations on how to expand the pilot program to increase the number of social workers in the state, improve representation in the field of social work, mitigate student debt and improve labor conditions for social workers upon graduation.
Establishes an LGBTQ+ youth and young adult suicide prevention task force; provides for the number of members, manner of appointment and the topics to be reviewed.
Establishes a twenty-two year retirement program for deputy sheriff members who are employed by the city of New York as a deputy city sheriff level one, deputy city sheriff level two, supervising deputy sheriff or administrative sheriff.
Requires landlords to provide tenants with a rent ledger containing a detailed record, including the amount, date and method of payment, of all financial transactions between such lessee and lessor, including rent payments, late fees, and security deposits.
Relates to the establishment of a twenty-two and one-half year retirement program for members of the New York city employees' retirement system employed as emergency medical technicians and advanced emergency medical technicians and to the establishment of such program for such members who are subject to articles 11 and 15 of the retirement and social security law.
Establishes a tax rebate program for rent-stabilized housing that targets buildings with individually occupied rent-stabilized apartments where the property tax burden significantly exceeds rental income.
