Suhas Subramanyam is a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives, representing Virginia's 10th congressional district. He was born on September 26, 1986, in Houston, Texas. Subramanyam graduated from Clear Lake High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in 2008. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from Northwestern University in 2013. Before entering Congress, he served on staff for U.S. Representative Suzanne Kosmas, and held positions with the Senate Judiciary Committee and the White House Office of the Chief Technology Officer. He was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2020 and subsequently moved to the Virginia State Senate in 2024, prior to his election to Congress in 2025.

As a member of the House, Subramanyam serves on the Ethics Committee, the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, as well as its Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics, reflecting his commitment to accountability and scientific advancement.
