Relating to the State Board of Prothetists and Orthotists; to amend Sections 34-25A-3, 34-25A-5, and 34-25A-8 of the Code of Alabama 1975, to require national boards making certifications
Relating to the Alabama Job Creation and Military Stability Commission; to amend Sections 31-14-2 and 31-14-3, Code of Alabama 1975, to expand the membership of the commission.
Relating to the Board of Pharmacy; to amend Section 34-23-32 of the Code of Alabama 1975, requiring a manufacturer, bottler, packager, wholesale drug distributor, and other entities in the supply chain for pharmaceutical products to obtain an annual permit from the board; to require each permit holder to designate a representative of the permit holder who would be required to register with the board; and to provide for an additional annual registration fee.
Relating to the practice of pharmacy; to authorize a licensed pharmacist to prescribe certain vaccines; and to require pharmacists who administer vaccines to individuals under 19 years of age to also recommend annual well-child visits to a pediatrician.
To make an appropriation of $13,651,435 from the Education Trust Fund to Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama, for the support and maintenance of the educational program of the institution, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024; to provide that the appropriation is subject to certain provisions of the Code of Alabama 1975; to require an operations plan and an audited financial statement prior to the release of any funds; and to require an end of year report.
Relating to driver licenses; to amend Section 32-6-10.1, Code of Alabama 1975, to reduce the minimum time period certain Alabama licenses may be issued to a foreign national; and to make nonsubstantive, technical revisions to update the existing code language to current style.
Relating to Macon County; to amend Section 45-44-90 of the Code of Alabama 1975, establishing the Macon County Economic Development Authority, to further provide for the operation of the authority; and to authorize the formation of a successor authority under certain conditions.
Relating to Macon County; to provide for the salary of the judge of probate; to ratify and confirm prior payments to the judge of probate prior to the effective date of this act; and to repeal Section 45-44-84 of the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to Macon County and the salary of the judge of probate.
