Biography

State Representative Will Metcalf is a sixth-generation resident of Montgomery County, Texas. With a strong background in business, he currently serves as the Vice President & Director of Business Development at Spirit of Texas Bank. Metcalf has had a notable career in the financial sector, aiding families and small businesses within Montgomery County to achieve their financial goals. He has also been involved in real estate investment in the area, managing properties in Montgomery County and its surroundings.

Educated locally, Metcalf graduated from Conroe ISD and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. He is married to Megan, and they have twin daughters, Amelia and Elizabeth. The Metcalfs are active members of The Church at Woodforest, reflecting their commitment to family and community values.

Metcalf began serving in the Texas House of Representatives to advocate for conservative principles and the interests of his constituents. He is recognized for his efforts in supporting tax reform, property rights, and transparency in local governance. Throughout his legislative tenure, he has continuously championed issues pivotal to Montgomery County, such as enhancing local school programs and maintaining a strong presence on border security.

As the current Chairman of the House Administration Committee, Metcalf oversees the daily operations of the Texas House and manages its finances.
