22 | 22 | | SECTION 1. Chapter 21-28.11 of the General Laws entitled "The Rhode Island Cannabis 1 |

23 | 23 | | Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2 |

25 | 25 | | (a) In accordance with the provisions of this chapter, a licensed compassion center may 4 |

26 | 26 | | allow a person to deliver marijuana to an individual located in the state. 5 |

27 | 27 | | (b) The delivery person shall be able to deliver marijuana from a compassion center to a 6 |
---|
28 | 28 | | person in this state if the vehicle that is used for the delivery is registered to the compassion center, 7 |
---|
29 | 29 | | the driver of the vehicle is an employee of the compassion center, and the recipient of the delivery 8 |
---|
30 | 30 | | is registered with the compassion center from which the marijuana product is being delivered. The 9 |
---|
31 | 31 | | amount of marijuana product to be delivered shall not exceed three hundred dollars ($300). 10 |

32 | 32 | | (c) The delivery of the marijuana product shall not be permitted by any rideshare or 11 |

33 | 33 | | delivery service including, but not limited to, Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, Uber 12 |
