CONFERENCE

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Chapter 72 of the 2018 Public Laws entitled "An Act Relating 1
to Property – Mortgage Foreclosure and Sale--Mediation Conference" is hereby amended to read 2
as follows: 3
Section 2. This act shall take effect sixty (60) days following passage, and shall expire on 4
July 1, 2023. 5
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 73 of the 2018 Public Laws entitled "An Act Relating 6
to Property – Mortgage Foreclosure and Sale--Mediation Conference" is hereby amended to read 7
as follows: 8
Section 2. This act shall take effect sixty (60) days following passage, and shall expire on 9
July 1, 2023. 10
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon passage. 11

This act would amend the sunset provision relative to mediation coverage prior to mortgage 1
foreclosures from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2026. 2
This act would take effect upon passage. 3
