RELATING TO FOOD AND DRUGS -- THE RHODE ISLAND CANNABIS ACT

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 21-28.11 of the General Laws entitled "The Rhode Island Cannabis 1
Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
21-28.11-33. Prohibition from outdoor advertising of cannabis sales. 3
No licensee under the provisions of this chapter or any other retailer in the business of 4
selling cannabis shall be allowed to advertise for the sale of cannabis within the state on any outside 5
forms of advertising, including, but not limited to, billboards, digital billboards, outdoor murals, 6
outdoor posters, bus shelters, bus posters, mobile billboards, or any other form of outdoor 7
advertising. 8
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 9
