2121 It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
2222 SECTION 1. Chapter 42-6.2 of the General Laws entitled "2021 Act on Climate" is hereby 1
2323 amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
2424 42-6.2-9.1. Renewable energy sources. 3
2525 It is hereby established that the state shall mandate that all equipment and components that 4
2626 are used for solar panel installations and wind power turbines be manufactured using renewable 5
2727 energy sources and not from energy derived from fossil fuels. 6
2828 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 7
