2222 It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
2323 SECTION 1. Chapter 23-18.9 of the General Laws entitled "Refuse Disposal" is hereby 1
2424 amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
2525 23-18.9-19. Refuse disposal hours of operation. 3
2626 (a) All persons engaged in the business of collection or hauling of refuse shall not empty 4
2727 large trash receptacles, commonly known as “dumpsters”, within one hundred feet (100') of a 5
2828 dwelling unit, as defined § 45-24-31, between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) pm and eight o'clock 6
2929 (8:00) am. 7
3030 (b) Subsection (a) of this section shall apply to any person engaged in the business of 8
3131 collection or hauling of refuse operating in a non-residential area. 9
3232 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 10
