EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF KARRIE ANN DISANTO

WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Karrie 1
Ann DiSanto of Barrington. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Nancy and 2
Joseph Agostinelli; and 3
WHEREAS, Ms. DiSanto was a devoted mother who strived tirelessly to provide for her 4
family and loved ones. She was also a passionate advocate in support of numerous causes, 5
particularly in her work on behalf of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence, which 6
included organizing the very successful “March for our Lives” rally at the Rhode Island 7
Statehouse in June of 2022; and 8
WHEREAS, Ms. DiSanto leaves behind her beloved daughters, Lydia DiSanto and 9
Charlotte DiSanto, and their father, Thomas DiSanto. She is also survived by her siblings, Joseph 10
Agostinelli, Steven Agostinelli, Mark Agostinelli, and Mary O’Brien, as well as many aunts, 11
uncles, nieces and dear friends; now, therefore be it 12
RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby 13
expresses its deepest condolences to the DiSanto Family on the passing of Karrie Ann DiSanto; 14
and be it further 15
RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to 16
transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Lydia DiSanto and Charlotte DiSano. 17
