| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 1. Chapter 30-15 of the General Laws entitled "Emergency Management" is 1 |

| 24 | 24 | | hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2 |

| 25 | 25 | | 30-15-12.1. Local emergency management - Coastal Community Appropriation - 3 |

| 26 | 26 | | Narragansett Bay Marine Task Force. 4 |

| 27 | 27 | | (a) The general assembly shall include in the annual appropriation to the Rhode Island 5 |

| 28 | 28 | | emergency management agency, the amount of one hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) to 6 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | be distributed to coastal communities participating in the Narragansett Bay marine task force 7 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | (NBMTF) for the maintenance of boats that provide services to Narragansett Bay. 8 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | (b) The funds shall be distributed to the coastal communities as follows: 9 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | (1) Providence, East Providence, Cranston, Newport, Warwick and North Kingstown shall 10 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | receive the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) annually per community; and 11 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | (2) East Greenwich, Narragansett, Barrington, Warren, Bristol, Portsmouth, Middletown, 12 |

| 35 | 35 | | Jamestown, Tiverton and Little Compton shall receive the sum of six thousand dollars ($6,000) 13 |
