RELATING TO WATERS AND NAVIGATION -- WATER RESOURCES MANA GEMENT

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 46-15 of the General Laws entitled "Water Resources Management" 1
is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
46-15-24. Rental fees. 3
Twenty percent (20%) of all rental fees collected by the water resources board pursuant to 4
a lease agreement with the Coventry Pines Golf club or a memorandum of understanding with the 5
town of Coventry, shall be remitted as follows: 6
(1) Ten percent (10%) to the town of Coventry; and 7
(2) Ten percent (10%) to the Central Coventry Fire District. 8
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 9

This act would require twenty percent (20%) of all rental fees collected by the water 1
resources board (WRB) pursuant to a lease with the Coventry Pines Golf Club or memorandum of 2
agreement with the town of Coventry be paid ten percent (10%) to the town of Coventry and ten 3
percent (10%) to the Central Coventry Fire District. 4
This act would take effect upon passage. 5
