Section 11-47-35.1 of the General Laws in Chapter 11-47 entitled "Weapons" 1 is hereby amended to read as follows: 2 11-47-35.1. Persons exempt from § 11-47-35. 3 The provisions of § 11-47-35 shall not apply to full-time members of the state police, full-4 time members of the Rhode Island capitol police, full-time law enforcement officers within the 5 department of public safety, full-time members of the state marshal’s office, full-time members of 6 city or town police departments, or state marshals or correctional officers or persons licensed under 7 § 11-47-11. 8 SECTION 2.
