It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 31-23 of the General Laws entitled "Equipment and Accessories 1
Generally" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
31-23-12.1. Equipment and accessories generally. 3
The motor vehicle equipment belonging to the Providence Canteen with headquarters in 4
Providence, Rhode Island is declared to be an authorized emergency vehicle and may be equipped 5
with a siren, whistle or bell as provided in ยง 31-23-11. 6
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. 7
