Chapter 23-27.3 of the General Laws entitled "State Building Code" is hereby 1 amended by adding thereto the following section: 2 23-27.3-129.4. Refrigerants. 3 No provision of the Rhode Island building code, or other local code, may prohibit or 4 otherwise limit the use of a refrigerant designated as acceptable for use pursuant to and in 5 accordance with the provisions of 42 U.S.C. 7671k; provided any equipment containing such 6 refrigerant is listed and installed in accordance with safety standards and use conditions imposed 7 pursuant to such designation. 8 SECTION 2.
