EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF OLGA PEZZA

WHEREAS, It is with deep sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Olga 1
Pezza, the beloved mother of Cheryl Manni and her husband, Michael, and David Coletta and his 2
fiancée, Karen McHenry; and 3
WHEREAS, Born in the City of Providence, Olga Pezza was a daughter of the late 4
Bernardo and Antonetta Coletta, and the sister of the late Lena Maselli, Rocco, Vincent and 5
Anthony Coletta; and 6
WHEREAS, Ms. Pezza doted on her family, particularly her grandchildren, Michael 7
Manni, our friend and colleague, John Manni, and Jolena Coletta, and her great-grandson, 8
Domenic Manni; and 9
WHEREAS, In addition to making a wonderful home for her children, Ms. Pezza was 10
employed with the Alumni Department of Rhode Island College, and had also worked alongside 11
her family at LaSalle Bakery for many years, before her retirement; and 12
WHEREAS, There is no doubt that Olga Pezza, a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, 13
and friend to many, left an indelible mark on the lives of those she knew and loved, and she will 14
be dearly missed; now, therefore be it 15
RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island hereby expresses our deepest 16
sympathies on the passing of Olga Pezza; and be it further 17
RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to 18
transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Cheryl Manni and Family, David Coletta and 19
