15	15	RELATING TO INSURANCE -- ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS INSURANCE POLICIES

22	22	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
23	23	SECTION 1. Chapter 27-18 of the General Laws entitled "Accident and Sickness Insurance 1
24	24	Policies" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 2
25	25	27-18-95. Acute mental health crisis mobile response and stabilization services. 3
26	26	(a) Mobile response and stabilization services are services delivered to provide rapid 4
27	27	response to, assessment of, and early intervention for a child or youth eighteen (18) years of age 5
28	28	and younger experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Symptoms might include, but are not 6
29	29	limited to: 7
30	30	(1) Aggression; 8
31	31	(2) Self-injury; 9
32	32	(3) Trauma; 10
33	33	(4) Acute depression/anxiety; 11
34	34	(5) Challenges at school; 12
35	35	(6) Suicidal or homicidal thoughts/behaviors; and 13
36	36	(7) Extreme parent/child conflict. 14
37	37	(b) Coverage is required under this section for mobile response and stabilization services 15
38	38	provided to any eligible individual under subsection (a) of this section enrolled as a plan beneficiary 16
39	39	as with any other behavioral health services covered in any other settings or modalities, regardless 17
40	40	of any difference in billing codes. 18
41	41	SECTION 2. Chapter 27-19 of the General Laws entitled "Nonprofit Hospital Service 19

45	45	Corporations" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: 1
46	46	27-19-87. Acute mental health crisis mobile response and stabilization services. 2
47	47	(a) Mobile response and stabilization services are services delivered to provide rapid 3
48	48	response to, assessment of, and early intervention for a child or youth eighteen (18) years of age 4
49	49	and younger experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Symptoms might include, but are not 5
50	50	limited to: 6

65	65	(a) Mobile response and stabilization services are services delivered to provide rapid 21
66	66	response to, assessment of, and early intervention for a child or youth eighteen (18) years of age 22
67	67	and younger experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Symptoms might include, but are not 23
68	68	limited to: 24
69	69	(1) Aggression; 25

85	85	27-41-100. Acute mental health crisis mobile response and stabilization services. 4
86	86	(a) Mobile response and stabilization services are services delivered to provide rapid 5
87	87	response to, assessment of, and early intervention for a child or youth eighteen (18) years of age 6
88	88	and younger experiencing an acute mental health crisis. Symptoms might include, but are not 7
89	89	limited to: 8
90	90	(1) Aggression; 9
91	91	(2) Self-injury; 10
92	92	(3) Trauma; 11
93	93	(4) Acute depression/anxiety; 12
94	94	(5) Challenges at school; 13
