A house RESOLUTION To recognize and honor the Indian Land Middle School seventh grade GIRLS Volleyball team, coaches, and school officials for an outstanding season and to congratulate them for winning the 2024 FMAC seventh grade conference championship. Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is delighted to learn that the Indian Land Middle School Girls Volleyball Team captured the FMAC Championship title on Thursday, October 17, 2024; and Whereas, under the visionary guidance of Coach Matthew Burton and his exemplary staff, the team achieved an overall record of eleven victories and only three defeats, exemplifying their unwavering commitment to excellence; and Whereas, to the delight of their exuberant fans, the Lady Warriors defeated a fine Springfield Middle School from Fort Mill. The glorious triumph stands as a resounding testament to the team's tireless effort, perseverance and noble sportsmanship; and Whereas, proud of these young athletes, the South Carolina House of Representatives takes great pleasure in celebrating the Indian Land Girls Volleyball Team, who have won respect and honor for their school and community through the excellence of their performance. Now, therefore, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor the Indian Land Middle School seventh grade girls volleyball team, coaches, and school officials for an outstanding season and congratulate them for winning the 2024 FMAC seventh grade conference championship.
