99 A house RESOLUTION to recognize and honor Darryl Ray Griffin Sr., CEO of Neal Brothers North America, and to commend him for his business achievements and for the beneficial impact he has had on the Charleston community. Whereas, the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives appreciate the contributions that Darryl Ray Griffin Sr., a lifelong resident of Charleston, has made to his community; and Whereas, after graduating from St. Andrews High School, he earned a full scholarship to Gardner-Webb College, now Gardner-Webb University, where he was a four-year starter on the football team and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and management; and Whereas, Mr. Griffin launched his career in the maritime industry, where he quickly honed his skills and expertise. A significant opportunity came to him when David Neal invited him to join Neal Brothers North America as general manager; and Whereas, for a quarter of a century, he has been an integral part of Neal Brothers Charleston, Inc., and has served as the CEO for eighteen years. A premier leader in logistics and supply chain management, he has led the company to prioritize innovation, client satisfaction, and operational excellence; and Whereas, during his tenure at Neal Brothers, he has orchestrated various community outreach initiatives, such as organizing toy and food drives and driving employment endeavors focused on fostering a second-chance environment; and Whereas, with a deep commitment to his family, he is a proud father to three sons: Harry, Darryl Jr. "Buster," and Timber. He balances the demands of his successful career with a deep commitment to his family and community, actively supporting the North Charleston Community Resource Center; and Whereas, Darryl Griffin exemplifies the values of dedication and integrity that he instills at Neal Brothers Charleston, and he continues to inspire those around him, driving both his company and his family forward with passion and purpose. Now, therefore, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Darryl Ray Griffin Sr., CEO of Neal Brothers North America, and commend him for his business achievements and for the beneficial impact he has had on the Charleston community. Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Darryl Ray Griffin Sr. ----XX----
