99 A house RESOLUTION TO HONOR MOYE GRAHAM FOR DEDICATION TO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND FOR SERVICE IN THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT ON AGING. Whereas, Moye Graham officially joined the Republican Party (GOP) in 1976, and his first major endeavor was working for George Bush for Texas Governor in 1994. After a successful race, Governor Bush served the Lone Star State from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Graham served in Governor Bush's successful presidential campaign in Texas and Louisiana, and President Bush was elected to serve as President two times. Mr. Graham served on President Trump's Steering Committee in 2016 and on Governor McMaster's Steering Committee; and Whereas, he served as a South Carolina GOP (SCGOP) state delegate, a Clarendon County GOP (CCGOP) county delegate, a CCGOP precinct delegate and officer, covering fourteen state, county, and precinct conventions from 1999 through 2025. Mr. Graham served as the CCGOP first vice chairman from 2000 to 2005 and as its chairman from 2005 to 2025. He was elected to serve as the CCGOP executive committeeman in 2025; and Whereas, he was elected to serve six times as a delegate to the Republican National Convention: in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020. He served as a member of the South Carolina Electoral College in 2014 and 2016 and as an alternate elector for South Carolina in 2000, 2012, and 2020; and Whereas, Mr. Graham's service was honored with the 2013 SCGOP Chairman Katon Dawson Award, the 2014 SCGOP Governor Edwards Award, the 2015 SCGOP Chairman Award, the 2016 SCGOP top Community Award for The Prayer Quilt, and the 2025 CCGOP Windy Windham Award; and Whereas, appointed to the South Carolina Department on Aging by South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer, Mr. Graham served eight years under five more lieutenant governors: Ken Ard, Glenn McConnell, Yancey McGill, Henry McMaster, and Kevin Bryant. Now, therefore, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, honor Moye Graham for dedication to the Republican Party and service in the South Carolina Department on Aging. Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to Moye Graham. ----XX----
