| 19 | 19 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 4 |

| 20 | 20 | | Section 1. That § 41-17-13.4 be AMENDED: 5 |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | 41-17-13.4. Any South DakotaAn individual may obtain free admission to any 6 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | state park or recreation area, provided the individual is a South Dakota resident who 7 |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | receives: 8 |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | (1) Received a veteran allotment for a total disability which that is deemed a service-9 |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | connected injury or has received; 10 |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | (2) Received the United States Veterans' Administration K Award; any resident who 11 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | was 12 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | (3) Was held as a prisoner of war; or any resident who has 13 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | (4) Has served on active duty in the armed forces of the United States or and is 14 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | classified by the Veterans Administration as totally disabled because of a service-15 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | connected injury; 16 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | (5) Has served as a member of the armed forces reserve or the national guard who 17 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | and is classified by the Veterans Administration as totally disabled as a result 18 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | because of a service-connected injury may obtain free admission to any South 19 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | Dakota state park or recreation area, and any such person; 20 |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | (6) Is a retired or current member of the South Dakota National Guard; or 21 |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | (7) Is the spouse or dependent of a retired or current member of the South Dakota 22 |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | National Guard. 23 |
|---|
| 39 | 39 | | Any individual referenced in subdivisions (1) to (7), inclusive, of this section may 24 |
|---|
| 40 | 40 | | receive a fifty percent discount on any camping fee or associated electrical service fee 25 |
|---|
