ENTITLED An Act to extend the area in which a director for an irrigation district may
reside.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
Section 1. That ยง 46A-4-27 be AMENDED:
46A-4-27. Each director must be an elector of the division that the director
represents; or the director must be an elector of the district, if elected at large. Each
director shall reside within the district or within twenty-five miles of the district boundary,
as provided by the district bylaws. 25.355.10 2 1095
