12-BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
13-Section 1. That § 18-1-9 be AMENDED:
14-18-1-9. A notary public may charge and receive a fee for each instrument
15-notarized, except that no notary public may charge a fee for notarizing a request for an
