An Act to make an appropriation for the reconstruction of Custer West Dam. 1
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA: 2
Section 1. There is appropriated $1,500,000 from the general fund, to the City of Custer, for 3
the reconstruction of Custer West Dam and all associated costs required to accomplish the 4
project. 5
Section 2. The state treasurer shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw 6
warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act. 7
Section 3. Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated shall 8
revert in accordance with the procedures prescribed in chapter 4-8. 9
Section 4. This Act is effective June 29, 2025. 10
