A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Honoring the Canton C -Hawks boys wrestling
team.
WHEREAS, the Canton C-Hawks boys wrestling team has a longstanding history of
excellence; and
WHEREAS, the C-Hawks qualified as the second seed in the Class B State dual team
championship tournament, held on February 14, 2025, in Pierre; and
WHEREAS, the C-Hawks won their third consecutive state championship by defeating
Parkston, Bon Homme/Avon, and Winner to claim the title;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the One Hundredth Legislature of the State
of South Dakota, that the Canton C-Hawks boys are the 2025 Class B State dual wrestling
team champions.
