13- WHEREAS, Terry Ree was born in Huron, raised in Pierre, and was a member of the Crow
14-Creek Sioux Tribe; and
15- WHEREAS, Terry attended Black Hills State College, where he teamed up with fellow
16-student Bruce Williams to form the comedy-musical duo Williams and Ree; and
17- WHEREAS, Terry, with Bruce Williams, brought laughter to an international audience
18-through live performances and television programming over the comedy duo’s career of more
19-than fifty-five years; and
20- WHEREAS, Terry, as part of Williams and Ree, created the film, Williams and Ree: The
21-Movie, which highlighted the excitement of an Interstate 90 road trip through South Dakota;
