| 17 | 16 | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 6-53-110, is amended by adding the | |

| 19 | 18 | ( ) As used in this section, "district" means a district, region, precinct, sector, | |
| 20 | 19 | territory, or other geographical area prescribed for the purposes of nominating and | |
| 21 | 20 | electing candidates in accordance with this section. | |
| 22 | 21 | SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it. |
