52 | | - | (iv) Universal precaution; and |
---|
53 | | - | (8) At least twenty-four (24) hours of dry needling specific |
---|
54 | | - | instruction, which must include each of the following areas: |

55 | | - | (i) Dry needling technique; |
---|
56 | | - | (ii) Dry needling indications and contraindications; |
---|
57 | | - | (iii) Dry needling documentation; |
---|
58 | | - | (iv) Management of adverse effects; |
---|
59 | | - | (v) Practical psychomotor competency; and |
---|
60 | | - | (vi) Bloodborne pathogens protocol. |
---|
61 | | - | (2) The board shall approve the schools and organizations that provide |
---|
62 | | - | sufficient instruction to satisfy this subsection (b). |
---|
63 | | - | SECTION 5. For the purpose of promulgating rules, this act takes effect upon becoming |
---|
64 | | - | a law, the public welfare requiring it. For all other purposes, this act takes effect September 1, |
