	14	+	3-2018, relative to the P25 interoperable

16	17		BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
17	18		SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-3-2018, is amended by deleting the
18	19		section and substituting:
19		-	(a) For purposes of this section, the Tennessee Advanced Communications Network
20		-	(TACN), is the division of the department of safety that operates, maintains, and oversees
21		-	the statewide P25 interoperable communications system.
22		-	(b) The department may promulgate rules regarding access to the P25 interoperable
23		-	communications system, including the authority to collect fees and assessments for the
