| 17 | 17 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE: | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-51-201(d)(1), is amended by | |
| 19 | 19 | inserting the language "prostate cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer" immediately after | |
| 20 | 20 | "testicular cancer,". | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 7-51-201(d)(2)(A), is amended by | |
| 22 | 22 | adding the following as a new subdivision: | |
| 23 | 23 | (iii) Any firefighter desiring to utilize the presumption established in this | |
| 24 | 24 | subsection (d) for prostate cancer, breast cancer, or pancreatic cancer, must obtain a | |
| 25 | 25 | physical medical examination after July 1, 2025, and the examination must include a | |
| 26 | 26 | cancer screening that fails to reveal any evidence of prostate cancer, breast cancer, or | |
| 27 | 27 | pancreatic cancer. | |
| 28 | 28 | SECTION 3. This act takes effect July 1, 2025, the public welfare requiring it. |
