| 17 | 16 | | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-21-203(c)(3), is amended by |

| 18 | 17 | | deleting the subdivision. |

| 19 | 18 | | SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-6-109(b), is amended by adding |

| 20 | 19 | | the following new subdivision: |

| 21 | 20 | | To identify any Tennessee laws, rules, programs, services, and budgetary |

| 22 | 21 | | priorities that conflict with the components, guidelines, and objectives of the |

| 23 | 22 | | comprehensive state policy, as defined and established by the human rights commission |

| 24 | 23 | | under ยง 4-21-203(c)(2), to ensure and to promote present and future compliance with |

| 25 | 24 | | Title VI requirements; |

| 26 | 25 | | SECTION 3. This act takes effect July 1, 2025, the public welfare requiring it. |
