17 | 16 | SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 50-6-121(a)(1)(C), is amended by | |

19 | 18 | At least one (1) employee representative shall be from organized labor. | |
20 | 19 | and substituting instead the language: | |
21 | 20 | The employee representative appointed by the governor must be from an entity | |
22 | 21 | representing organized labor. | |
23 | 22 | SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it, | |
24 | 23 | and shall apply to appointments made on or after the effective date of this act. |
