| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-51-101, provides for the creation of |

| 20 | 20 | | the Tennessee education lottery corporation; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-51-103, provides that the governor |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | shall appoint seven (7) members to the board of directors of the Tennessee education lottery |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | corporation; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Governor Bill Lee has appointed Dr. Nancy Dishner of Greeneville to serve |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | as a member of the board of directors of the Tennessee education lottery corporation for a term |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | that will expire on June 30, 2029; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Dishner serves as president and chief executive officer of the Niswonger |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Foundation; she previously served as vice provost for enrollment services and director of the |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Roan Scholars Leadership Program at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) and was a |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | tenured professor in the department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis; and |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | WHEREAS, prior to her position at ETSU, she served as a public-school teacher in |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Unicoi County, having begun her career in early childhood development as a kindergarten |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | teacher; and |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | WHEREAS, an alumna of ETSU, Dr. Dishner has a Bachelor of Science degree in |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | Elementary Education, a master's degree in supervision and administration, and a doctorate in |
|---|
