13	13	A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Michael Todd
14	14	Henderson on his selection as the 2024–2025
15	15	John Trotwood Moore Middle School Teacher of
16	16	the Year.

18	18	WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to
19	19	specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the
20	20	highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and
21	21	WHEREAS, Michael Todd Henderson is one such estimable educator, who has
22	22	distinguished himself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and
23	23	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson has recently been named the 2024–2025 John Trotwood
24	24	Moore Middle School Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive
25	25	influence he has on so many young lives; and
26	26	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who
27	27	works assiduously to motivate his students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as
28	28	citizens; and
29	29	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and students
30	30	alike, and his friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know him;
31	31	and
32	32	WHEREAS, Michael Henderson truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly
33	33	committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and he should be
34	34	specially recognized; now, therefore,
35	35	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
36	36	FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
37	37	CONCURRING, that we hereby honor and congratulate Michael Todd Henderson on being
38	38	chosen as the 2024–2025 John Trotwood Moore Middle School Teacher of the Year, commend

43	43	his exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute his professional expertise and
44	44	personal excellence, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
45	45	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
46	46	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
47	47	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
48	48	without House or Senate designation.
