1212 A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Casey Moore on her
1313 selection as the 2024–2025 Waverly-Belmont
1414 Elementary School Teacher of the Year.

1616 WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to
1717 specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the
1818 highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and
1919 WHEREAS, Casey Moore is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished
2020 herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and
2121 WHEREAS, Ms. Moore has recently been named the 2024–2025 Waverly-Belmont
2222 Elementary School Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive
2323 influence she has on so many young lives; and
2424 WHEREAS, Ms. Moore is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who
2525 works assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as
2626 citizens; and
2727 WHEREAS, Ms. Moore serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike,
2828 and her friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; and
2929 WHEREAS, Casey Moore truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly
3030 committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and she should be
3131 specially recognized; now, therefore,
3232 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
3333 FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
3434 CONCURRING, that we hereby honor and congratulate Casey Moore on being chosen as the
3535 2024–2025 Waverly-Belmont Elementary School Teacher of the Year, commend her

4040 exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute her professional expertise and personal
4141 excellence, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
4242 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
4343 for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
4444 the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
4545 without House or Senate designation.
