| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 17 | 17 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Jessica P. Ellis is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Ellis has recently been named the 2024–2025 John B. Whitsitt |

| 22 | 22 | | Elementary School Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | influence she has on so many young lives; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Ellis is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who works |

| 25 | 25 | | assiduously to motivate her students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as |

| 26 | 26 | | citizens; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Ellis serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, and |

| 28 | 28 | | her friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know her; and |

| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Jessica Ellis truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is wholly committed |
