14	14	A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Michael Todd
15	15	Henderson on his selection as the 2024–2025
16	16	John Trotwood Moore Middle School Teacher of
17	17	the Year.

19	19	WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to
20	20	specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the
21	21	highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and
22	22	WHEREAS, Michael Todd Henderson is one such estimable educator, who has
23	23	distinguished himself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and
24	24	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson has recently been named the 2024–2025 John Trotwood
25	25	Moore Middle School Teacher of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive
26	26	influence he has on so many young lives; and
27	27	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who
28	28	works assiduously to motivate his students to reach their full potential, both as scholars and as
29	29	citizens; and
30	30	WHEREAS, Mr. Henderson serves as an inspiration to his colleagues and students
31	31	alike, and his friendship and counsel are highly valued by those who are fortunate to know him;
32	32	and
33	33	WHEREAS, Michael Todd Henderson truly epitomizes the dedicated teacher who is
34	34	wholly committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and he
35	35	should be specially recognized; now, therefore,
36	36	BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED
37	37	FOURTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE S ENATE
38	38	CONCURRING, that we hereby honor and congratulate Michael Todd Henderson on being
39	39	chosen as the 2024–2025 John Trotwood Moore Middle School Teacher of the Year, commend

44	44	his exceptional service to the children of Tennessee, salute his professional expertise and
45	45	personal excellence, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
46	46	BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared
47	47	for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
48	48	the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear
49	49	without House or Senate designation.
