| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to pay |

| 17 | 17 | | tribute to those excellent coaches who have led their players to success in athletic competition |

| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Coach Penny Hardaway has established himself as the head basketball |

| 20 | 20 | | coach at the University of Memphis and guided the Tigers to unprecedented heights of |

| 21 | 21 | | achievement; and |

| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Penny Hardaway was named the American Athletic Conference's 2024- |

| 23 | 23 | | 2025 Coach of the Year by his peers in recognition of his devoted instruction and success as |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Coach Hardaway led the Tigers to a 26-5 overall record and 16-2 mark in |

| 26 | 26 | | conference play on the way to Memphis's first regular season championship in the American |

| 27 | 27 | | Athletic Conference; and |

| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Penny Hardaway has distinguished himself as a great coach, tactician, and |

| 29 | 29 | | motivator of young athletes, and this native Tennessean should be appropriately recognized; |
