| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 19 | 19 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |

| 20 | 20 | | highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Leslie Vines is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished herself |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Vines has recently been named a 2024–2025 Jefferson County |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Schools District Level Teacher of the Year and the Jefferson Elementary School Teacher of the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Year, most befitting honors that recognize the positive influence she has on so many young |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | lives; and |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Leslie Vines earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and master's |

| 28 | 28 | | degree in teaching English as a second language from Carson-Newman University; and |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, a dedicated K-5 ESL teacher at Jefferson Elementary School, where she |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | has taught for sixteen years, Mrs. Vines is an extremely talented and compassionate educator |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | who works assiduously to nurture those under her charge, both as scholars and as citizens; and |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, throughout her many worthy endeavors, she has been blessed with the love |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | and support of her husband, Jim Vines, and their four children, Jay, Caroline, Catherine, and |

| 35 | 35 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Vines serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students alike, |
