| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should pause to |

| 19 | 19 | | specially recognize those outstanding teachers who have devoted their careers to providing the |

| 20 | 20 | | highest quality education for Tennessee's students; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Lani O'Connor is one such estimable educator, who has distinguished |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. O'Connor has recently been named a 2024–2025 Jefferson County |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Schools District Level Teacher of the Year and the Jefferson County High School Teacher of the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Year, most befitting honors that recognize the positive influence she has on so many young |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | lives; and |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, a dedicated service-learning teacher at Jefferson County High School, |

| 28 | 28 | | where she has taught for fourteen years, Mrs. O'Connor is a native of West Virginia who has |

| 29 | 29 | | happily made her home in the mountains of Dandridge; and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, she is an extremely talented and compassionate educator who works |

| 31 | 31 | | assiduously to nurture those under her charge, both as scholars and as citizens; and |

| 32 | 32 | | WHEREAS, throughout her many worthy endeavors, Lani O'Connor has been blessed |

| 33 | 33 | | with the love and support of her husband, Ian, and their two children, Mia and Miles; and |

| 34 | 34 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. O'Connor serves as an inspiration to her colleagues and students |
